As our honorees demonstrate, NED is a critical lifeline for extraordinary people at the forefront of freedom around the world. All proceeds will support our mission and all sponsors will be recognized at our November 14 awards ceremony.
Why Support NED? NED receives appropriations from Congress to support its grantmaking and related democracy activities. We focus on pushing federal funds out the door to those grassroots groups working for democracy in over 100 countries. Yet, as repression sharpens, the need for support is growing; democracy activists require support in ways that fall outside our grantmaking. Private funds enable NED to act flexibly and quickly when support is most needed to assist with expenses that cannot be covered by federal funds. Your sponsorship will recognize our distinguished awardees, honor our history, and ensure NED remains a dynamic catalyst for democracy and freedom for years to come. All funds raised for NED’s 40th anniversary will support our mission thanks to a generous benefactor who is underwriting the costs of the dinner.

- NED@40 Co-Chair: $250,000 & $100,000
- Diamond Sponsorship: $50,000
- Platinum Sponsorship: $25,000
- Gold Sponsorship: $10,000
- Silver Sponsorship: $5,000
- Bronze Sponsorship: $1,000
- Individual Contributions: any amount of your choosing
